Blog Week 1

Hiya everyone,

                         Today I'm going to be explaining how the coronavirus is affecting upcoming events such as festivals, gigs, concerts and other social gatherings. Due to the virus people have been advised to stay at home and not go to work, if it is possible for them to work for home. This has caused an upgoing pressure for people to stay inside and to not leave their homes. The government decided to force lock down on the UK meaning that children and teenager are not permitted to go to places of education e.g. schools, colleges and universities also due to the government forcing education places to shut there have cancel all upcoming exams such as GCSE, A level and masters till the virus also now known as COVID-19 haves stop spreading as fast or even found a vaccine.

This has affected what I was planning to do for my Final Major Project as I was going to put on a fashion show /catwalk event at my college during an event that takes place called MET fest in June/July. So to continue with my idea for a fashion show but without making it a social event is to make an online virtual event. I will do this by making social media accounts on different platforms which include Instagram and Facebook also I will be getting friends and family to participate in the online catwalk/show by getting them to email me,what they are wearing during the lockdown period and ask for a photo and a funny or inspiration comment . On these accounts I will be posting posters in which I will be making myself using a website called canva.com, which is a free online site that you can use to make posters,logos and other promotion designs.
